Frontier playing better, but still no trouble for FF here

Definitely see some trouble for FF tonight. Magnolia is a good team and trending up. Frontier beating them shows how well they have been playing. Frontier's only loss was to River on opening night and I look for Frontier to beat them when the rematch happens. I think this will be a very physical game and tempers will be running high south of New Mat tonight. I say this game will be decided in the final two minutes. Would love to be there for it.

Fort Frye never plays well at Frontier it probably will be a low scoring game. Even with all that Fort still has better guards. Wallace and Fogle step up and Cadets win by 10.

I'll take the under of the 10. But think Fort does have the better backcourt. As long as Curtis for Frontier isn't burying them from 3, Fort has the decisive edgeEasternDspy wrote: ↑Sat Jan 11, 2020 3:07 pm Fort Frye never plays well at Frontier it probably will be a low scoring game. Fort with the big comeback win. Down 50-39 and comeback to win 51-50.

Congrats to Frontier Sr. Logan Brookover for getting his 1,000 th point tonight. He also had about 25 tonight.
Re: Fort Frye (8-1) @ Frontier (7-1) 1/11
What happened with FF being down 11 pts and being able to come back and tie the score ? Also how much time was left when being down 11 pts ?
Re: Fort Frye 51 @ Frontier 50 Final
Crunch time FF stepped-up the pressure, and Frontier couldn't get shots to fall.
Late third Q.or early 4th. Cougar's still had 9-12 point lead if memory serves me.

I don’t remember the exact time left but I’m thinking there was around 4 minutes left in the game when FF started the comeback. They really tightened up on the defensive side of the ball, and started attacking the basket on offense. Frontier also missed free throws down the stretch, and missed a couple of threes.

Why , with a good lead, did they feel the need to shoot treys? Was if after they missed several FTs?Jveyon wrote: ↑Sun Jan 12, 2020 9:23 amI don’t remember the exact time left but I’m thinking there was around 4 minutes left in the game when FF started the comeback. Thanks for your response, I know it's hard to accept sometimes when a team has an 8-10 pt lead, and then a turnover or two or your own easy missed shot, and in a matter of a very short amount of time it seems as if the momentum swings to your opponent. Trying to get that momentum back at that point sometimes is very hard to do.Jveyon wrote: ↑Sun Jan 12, 2020 9:23 amI don’t remember the exact time left but I’m thinking there was around 4 minutes left in the game when FF started the comeback. According to the times article this morning, Frontier did not score the final 5 and half minutes.VetteMan wrote: ↑Sun Jan 12, 2020 8:07 pmThanks for your response, I know it's hard to accept sometimes when a team has an 8-10 pt lead, and then a turnover or two or your own easy missed shot, and in a matter of a very short amount of time it seems as if the momentum swings to your opponent.
