D4 2019-20 Basketball (Updated 2/16)

East District is going to be a real dog fight,to see who gets to the regionals and who ever makes it will be a very tuff out,Now that Malvern is healthy,they have all the pieces to make a run, very good height good guard play,very deep on the bench, Rosecrans has everyone back from last year's team, very good three point shooting team,they have about 3or4 guys that are good 3 point shooters,my Hawks have about 4 guys,that played alot minutes with that great team we had last year, were not very deep on the bench this season, good height this season 6'8" being the tallest,they play super tuff defense,this year's schedule is a very tuff schedule

As far as you know, is the South Webster- Oak Hill boys game the only game affected this week, or is there a girls game affected also ?

I checked and the Lady Jeeps were scheduled to host the Lady Pirates 2-6-2020.

I would rank the top 10 this way:

1 Peebles
2 New Boston
3 Trimble
4 Fairfield
5 Fed Hocking
6 South Webster
7 St Joseph
8 Symmes Valley
9 Green
10 Crooksville

No South Gallia or Valley??

I would say that's fair except that if you're going to rank South Webster there based on strength of schedule than the same should be done for Crooksville. Brutal schedule. South Webster deserves to be above Symmes Valley since they beat them but many coaches vote solely off record (which is sad). I'm not fully sold that South Webster isn't better than Fed Hock and Fairfield, but I'm not sure many posters would agree with that.

If I'm the #1 or #2 seed I'm trying anything I can to not put Webster in the #7, #8, #9, #10 spots as they could win the first game and end up matched with them. New Boston and Peebles are still clearly the favorite, but there's much worse teams they deserve to be facing as the #1 and #2 seed.

I think it's more likely you see Crooksville and South Webster as the 11-14 seeds and probably not higher. Keeps the top 2 seeds happy and Webster + Crooksville would much rather take that route as well.

I never lost faith. Historically Webster has done good with a team full of guards and no size. Just gotta sit down on D and play team ball
