Does Shanks being out hurt Waverly? Jeeps are playing hard and are better than I thought.

Shanks was looking good and was going to be a huge asset, yes it hurts.

Good job tonight Jeeps. Gotta work out those turnovers and get some shots to fall and this will be an excellent team.

62-50 Waverly Final

It was a 2 and 3 point game up until about 3:00 left. Webster had 4 looks to tie or lead and the ball just wouldn’t go.

Webster fans gonna dawg me for this but why in the world does Bender instead of blizzard or Zimmy bring the ball up the floor??? Turnover after turnover.

Solid showing by Jeeps tonight but came up short in the end (11-0 Waverly run to end game). Waverly will get better and better as year goes on. Some real nice athletes on their squad. Jeeps just gotta keep playing hard like that...they will win a lot of games this year with that kind of effort*

Waverly still has a LOT of ways to go to reach their full capabilities I believe. I think once Futhey, Stulley, Wolf and Brown get back into basketball mode things will start to click.

Stulley already went for 17 in game 1...maybe he’s not full basketball mode but most kids on the court aren’t for either team. I get what you are saying and agree as football participants take a bit to get back into basketball mode....but the main basketball olayers are also off a bit as most have either been out due to quarantine or fewer practices snd scrimmages...no summer.

Football no excuse now. Tigers have some things to work on unrelated to football and I’m sure they’ll get it tuned in.

That ain’t enough. Trust me I have a football player. They call it mid season form for a reason. And with the summer these kids had it’s gonna take some time

Never mentioned anything about football. Yeah that plays a part in it, so does the recent quarantine as does the no summer ball. We just got sloppy at times in terms of rebounding and typical basketball plays, but no don’t think football is an excuse either
