How did Myers look tonight? Wasn’t sure he’d play this season after the ACL tear. Tough kid

After starting off down a touchdown the Ironmen played well from there on minus 50 seconds to start the 4th. Game very physical but not dirty and within the spectrum of being basketball and not just football. Jackson upped their physicality and took it to and beyond Logan’s level. Evan Spires is big in every game but he’s HUGE for us in those games. Few can play as physical as he does and still be playing basketball. He’s worth his weight in gold in these type of games. Evan led with 10 points. Landon Erwin got Jackson over the hump and going early in the 3rd with 5 quick points and a couple tremendous defensive plays. He was a box out machine keeping their 6’5 boy off the boards and also played great perimeter defense in the sets he had to. Landon Erwin was big tonight 👏👏👏. Bragg had just 8 points but he hit two pivotal free throws with 50 seconds left in a 1 and 1 situation...while nearly puking at the free throw line. Hammond had 6 points and 2 huge 1 and the bonus free throws. Prater’s steal and floater at the 3rd qtr buzzer was huge...Blankenship hit an athletic layup for our first points of the game. Kuhn had 4 but final bucket was big.

Logan....not bad at all folks. I don’t know the coach but he had them ready and they played hard as hell. Great defense. Physical but good physical not just buruisers. Mahaffey a tremendous defender was tough all night on the ball. Myers can do it all...he’s impressive. Big boy is big and strong but we did very well on him (and all of them actually).....every Logan kid on the court could defend. I wish them well. May or may not win a bunch but are solid and better than I guessed, but maybe not a lot of scoring options...but also we played really good defense.

Jackson made 0 3’s...maybe 0-6 or 0-7 for the game.
We played this team last year. Very physical and well coached ball club.

Tegan put up 13 points tonight ... he wears a brace on the knee he tore up ... he doesn't hold back - gets after it on both ends defensively in your face, offensively they have him in the post - you can see where he worked out a lot why doing his rehab - strong young man at 6-0 ... interesting how Logan not once went to their 6-5 kid in the post offensively while setting up Tegan in the post opposite Alford the 6-5 soph ... Tegan nailed his 3 ball but nothing on the perimeter after that ... he didn't seem to favor the knee at all ... he was averaging 18 ppg coming into tonight vs Jackson ... excellent basketball player and a great kid off the court to go with it ...

I forgot to give due credit to the officiating crew. They did a nice job. Greg Woods and his crew.

Good, physical defensive game played by both teams.both teams played hard and with respect for each other. Would love to see these two play again this year.

Wow. Was only Logan's third game this season. Tough schedule for Logan but think there are wins out there, especially if they can find a consistent 2nd scorer.

Glad to see Myers' on the court for the purple and white. Wanted to tune into this one but couldn't quite make it work.

Coach Morrow has the Ironmen flying. Good luck the rest of the way!
