Agreed. Putting Webster at #7 tells me that way too many of these coaches don’t scout other teams and vote solely on record and nothing else.

Federal Hocking and Symmes would be the worst or second worst team in the SOC 2.. Symmes played the #3 team in the SOC 2 in Valley and lost by 30+, would have been near 50 if Valley didn’t pull starters early. Fairfield also lost to Valley by 30. Webster split with Valley lol.

No respect but not surprising. Howie got the cakewalk he wanted and Valley + South Webster + Fairfield who all play strong schedules got hosed.

Man you know they get a path they see as best and plug in teams….making it close with records. Those same teams move every potential difficult game until after the draw….even though they only have a few tougher games.

It’s 100% garbage that Valley and South Webster meet up that early. No idea why the SE district doesn’t care that this happens often.

What’s Trimbles best win? One could argue that they shouldn’t be the 1 seed based off quality wins. I think we could have a better bracket if the southeast district would let this forum make the bracket lol. We are blessed with some really knowledgeable posters….and some real homers too.

I look forward to making my first ever trip to Fed Hock High School, one of the few I’ve never been to.

They had some growing pains early in the season. I think they are a solid group that really tried to upgrade the non-conference schedule. I feel that Trimble and Valley are the 2 best teams. I expect they will give Trimble their best test of the year.

It’s a great place to watch a game. Should be a great atmosphere for sure.

That's what happens with super sectionals, teams are too spread out and coaches don't sit down and dissect schedules, scores, etc ...

Valley defeated the Div III number one seed then in the rematch lost a lead late and ended the season with a split. Good enough to earn Valley a 2 seed in D IV.

Seriously, Webster had 6 total games against Waverly (#1 seed in D2); Minford (#1 seed in D3); and Valley (#2 seed in D4). They went 2-4 in those games. Other losses were to Burg and West on road (middle of pack D3 schools). I get records have to count for something in seedings, but so does strength of schedule. Webster as a 7 seed in D4 is a joke.*
