Still mad about that whoopin Jackson gave you in basketball huh?
Would be football too but you only play much smaller teams . Yay!
I’m not upset about any high school games from years past. The basketball team that beat us beat a lot of teams those years from what I remember. And yes you’d have killed us in football too because we suck at football. I also have nothing against anyone from Jackson. I think they have a great coach and will more than likely have a great game plan for Waverly. I just don’t think any of it will matter.
Agree on all and especially the football , would be like Tyson hitting a 7th grade girl.
This year it would’ve been like Tyson hitting a kindergartner

I guess I won’t be getting back to Waverly to announce the late D3 Championship game. That 1/2 hour changes everything.

Jackson getting absolutely no respect. Being compared to little girls. Waverly should dominate this game on paper and in reality. Easy to root for the underdog this time of year .

I doubt there is much concern coming from the Waverly Locker room. I'm pretty sure they were celebrating their District Championship last Saturday night.

It won’t be close at any point in this game. Waverly could sit Robertson for 3 qtrs and still win by double digits. If I were Waverly I’d sit my starters for the first half and rest them for the regionals. Congrats to Waverly on a district championship
Mlittle logic: "Jackson is playing against a Waverly team that they have played since they were 8, but they have no chance!"
Also Mlittle: "I seriously think Unioto has a chance against the Golden State Warriors because... well they just do!"

Give me a break man, we might not win the game but counting any team out in the district title is just ridiculous. Lets take a look at that Southeastern team in 2017. Who thought they stood a chance in ANY game they played. Its tournament basketball. Anyone can have an off day at any point in time. The team in orange are human beings, not robots.

You said Jackson might not win and I’m saying they definitely won’t. Our stances aren’t that far apart from each other.

Not going to stop T Robertson, there is a reason he's nearing the 2000 point mark. Guard him the best you can, and try to stop everyone else.

I’ve never seen anyone make a shirt for playing in the game. I’ve always seen shirts made for winning it.
Several people sent me the pic thinking Jackson was jumping the gun. I guess if some will use mlittle comments as bulletin board material we’ll use this, LOL.

Waverly doesn’t need bulletin board material for this one trust me. If I was a Waverly coach I’d have a hard time even concentrating in practice this week. No way they are taking this game seriously

We are the #12 seed in the district championship game….we weren’t supposed to be here but we are and they wanted shirts and a little small town spirit

These two senior classes have had some big time games against each other since the 3/4 grade years. Any chance you give us a rundown of some of these games as this senior battle plays out for the final time ?

3rd grade I don’t think we played each other but Trey played a couple tournaments with us….I have a great team pic with Trey in a JI uniform but I don’t want to poke the bear, we loved having him for those 7-8 games, he was a lot of fun and worth the price of admission. In 4th and 5th grade they beat us 2 or 3x each year…they were winning all the tournaments. In 5th grade our games were competitive but they’d always have a lead to start the 4th and with kids that age you couldn’t get the ball from them lol. In 6th grade we combined our two Jackson travel teams and with Bragg, Prater, Hughes, Blankenship, Miller and Woodard….we beat them by 2 points 2x and by I think 7 our final championship game. We went 20-1 losing in the state championship after knocking off Upper Arlington.

Junior high never played unfortunately and 9th grade on never nearly the same teams.
