Washington CH Varsity Boys 2022-23

Post by MatthewG1 »

This Varsity team for WCH looks unstoppable. Beat undefeated Miami Trace tonight by 21 and now sit 9-1 overall and 5-0 in the FAC! Michael Bearden put on a clinic he had 27

Any other thoughts?

That team does looks unstoppable and on paper might be the best team in the entire 71 team SE district….but IMO they aren’t bringing it every night at all. Lost to a good D4 Fairfield team at home, held on for dear life at 0-6 McClain, barely beat 3-6 Hillsboro. Pulled away from Jackson a bit but really showed some strong signs of not caring for about 1/2 the game against Jackson….then just throttle MT, beat Wilmington and Chillicothe decidedly and a nice win at Vinton County.

I’d rank them 2nd or 3rd and I’ll guess Pfloyd will as well.

Big 6’6 LeMaster is strong and athletic, great touch and good passer. 2 athletic 6’2 and 6’4 Haithcocks, Bearden an athletic addition for sure that could also be a lockdown defender type that can score big. Wall is their rock IMO and an excellent donut all guard. Great quickness off the bench…..but they can’t have any efforts like the 2nd qtr at Jackson
