Great game by the Jackson boys.

4 turnovers vs Chillicothe….and tonight only 1 in first half and 4 again for the game. The freshman really aren’t freshman anymore. The 3rd qtr wasn’t their best but quarters 1, 2, 4 were just great all-around. Lots of assists and great defense. Loved it.

Jarvis 18
Campbell 14
Wolford 9
Seimetz 7
Ervin 4
Davis 3

Jenkins added several rebounds and great assists in the 4th qtr

Jackson I think was 7/10 on 3’s in the first half and on same bucket Peake made 7 out if I’d guess 12

That end used to be the woeful shooting end when this gym was put in

#5 a very quick player

Peake also very young and Ater doing a good job with them. Should be a top 20 team next year

I have no stats to base this on, and I very well could be wrong, but it seems to me that Wolford is playing more and scoring more recently as well.

Wolford has greatly improved. Early on he was a freshman that had very little preseason due to football and the early games I wasn’t sure his role….fast forward 2 months and he’s an active defender, helps take care of the ball, can hit the 3 at a good rate and can get to the basket. He and Woodard have been key offensive components as this team has taken a step or two forward. Seimetz taking great care of the ball and scores some and Jenkins now a 6 man that is big on offense and good rebounder.

Wolford has been around 7-10 points the last several games.

I think you said that Woodard maybe was not available for the Chesapeake game. With the playoffs just around the corner, hopefully it was something minor and he will be good to go.
