The Dragons of Coach Speed did Fairland "things" tonight and did them well vs the Westsiders - got out in transition turning West over 11 times and taking 7 of those to the house - 14pts in transition ... hit some 3's - didn't live or die by the 3 but "showed it" to the tune of 7/14 treys ... not sure there is a better duo of guards than Chase Allen & Brody Buchanan - defensively opponents have to respect the deep ball, as soon as you cover the 3 ball, both will take you to the rim ... points wise tonight Allen 17 pts/2 threes ... Buchanan 31 pts/3 threes ... I don't keep assists BUT both either finished at the rim or delivered dimes to teammates in the paint/on back door cuts - vs West the Dragons had 22 fgs in the paint/at the rim ... 44 points in the paint ... add insult to injury as tight of defense as the Senators play & played the Fairland had only 4 turnovers ... excellent all around game by Fairland as the Dragons prepare to take on 7-0 South Webster at the Alley in Alexander (neutral court) Saturday ...
