Not sure the MVL would want the TSL schools. I assume they would add a 4th team (possibly Cambridge) to get to 16.I imagine it would look something like this:Hookshot wrote: Fri May 23, 2025 8:20 pmteach1coach2 wrote: Tue May 20, 2025 11:10 am 2025-26
Big School Division
John Glenn is the clear favorite. Player of the Year and all the best players back from last year. Beat Maysville and split with Tri-Valley (only league team to beat Tri-Valley).
Tri-Valley - returns only a couple of players with varsity experience. Mostly because the departing senior class was so dominant in most sports. The incoming seniors are a solid class and will be the best of the rest after John Glenn. Incoming junior class is really weak. Sophomore and freshmen classes are strong but realistically only 1 sophomore could help the varsity.
Sheridan - Has lots of players with experience. Won't beat John Glenn but could potentially be better than Tri-Valley.
Philo - Has a solid sophomore and freshmen class with a 6' 7 freshmen who will be their best player. They could win the league in a couple years.
River View - 1 solid senior post player. Really good freshmen guard. Will only win a few games.
Morgan - Not good. Likely won't win a game in the MVL.
Small School Division
Maysville wins it pulling away. Good chance to win the state again if the weight of expectations does not get too heavy.
West M - Has a solid group of players in every class. Will win the small school division two years from now. New coach on the way.
New Lex, Coshocton, Meadowbrook, and Crooksville should be down from last year. Not sure how to place them.Marietta, Warren and Fort Frye need a new conference. This one is the best fit. Anybody talking?teach1coach2 wrote: Tue May 20, 2025 11:10 am 2025-26

Lots of travel for Tv/Sheridan to Warren/Marietta. Struggle to believe the MVL would want to “upset” two of their largest and most prominent schools in the league. Highly doubt they would go to regional divisions with how much the small schools like the shift.
