How has Frontier looked in scrimmages?

Post by carbon_dated »

Don't the Cougars return 6'5 Avery Powell (20+ ppg), Caleb Kirkpatrick and a couple other starters?

Kephart not going out this year will concentrate on football possible D-2. Don't know why Cougars didn't try to schedule Monroe Central.

I don't understand why they don't away with this two divisions in movl,a three team league is not much of a league, put them all in one league, Bridgeport and Frontier there's no reason why they can't compete with Caldwell, Shenandoah, Shadyside, Monroe Central, River, that would make a nice seven team league,if they want to add Cameron give it a try 8 team league is a perfect league

buckcc,
that's so true. Beallsville used to be in league in the 'small school' division but it was closed this school year. As for Frontier and Bridgeport should both be on every team's schedule.
In fact, Bridgeport, now D-6, was hyped as one of better teams with Threet and Brinker deciding not to transfer away.

6’5? I watched them play shenandoah last winter, that kid was around 6’ tall. Big growth spurt? I agree there is no reason that league is split divisions. likely a football decision if i had to guess.

The commissioner of this league needs to step in and have a meeting with the coaches,to make this a one division league
D6 MC
D6 Bridgeport
D6 Caldwell
D6 Shenandoah
D7 Frontier
D7 River
D7 Shadyside
D7 Cameron w.va ,if they would want in,more than likely be d7
It's not like there is d5 and d4 teams in this league,

Looking at Cameron football schedule,w.va schools are two weeks behind ohio highschools schedule, they would not fit in this one division league,if it ever would happen

The league doesn't need Cameron WV in it let those West Virginians fend for themselves.
Look for Shadyside to surprise some people this season. They only lost 1 player from last year's team.
Don't know about Caldwell and Shenandoah but there's some ballplayers out Noble County way.

Yeah, maybe he's 6'2 at best. Don't know what I was thinking LOL. Bowersock also back. They should at least make OVAC final.

Bridgeports never going to add tougher teams on the schedule, they are more worried keeping a coach that hasn't had a season above 500 in 10 plus years.
They added weaker teams this year just so he has a better chance of a winning season (he needs a winning season or this will be his last from what I've heard.)

I've seen Bridgeport's schedule. Ducked most teams in MOVL.
As for Frontier I think 15 wins.

Is my old buddy Roger still coaching the Cougars?

Roger's a legend at Frontier. I swear he must be over 300 wins.
