Spartans have a good team, would have liked to have seen this game with Seth Hall on the court. From what I understand, he was injured in last nights game. His defense, quickness, and scoring would have made a big difference I think. If I seen correctly, 7 fouls called on Alexander in the whole game. Not saying that was the difference, but game was allowed to be played rough on both ends.

I know that late in the game, Warren had 10+ fouls called against them to only 2 on Alexander. And YES, Seth Hall could have or WOULD have made a difference in this game if healthy. Just my opinion. I was impressed by Alexander tho, very well rounded ball club. Shot the ball very well with confidence. Congrats to them on the WIN

According to the Athens Messenger, Warren started fouling with 2:08 left in the game in order to get the ball back. The stats in the same article showed Alexander had 9 team fouls called during the game. It is amazing to me how hard Alexander defends, but they do not foul. I think that is what makes their defense so good. They just play solid defense.

Not sure I would go that far. Dennis was getting grabbed and pushed all night and went to the line 3 times. Difference was when Drayer, Dennis and Wiehl were in foul trouble by the start of the fourth and the aggressiveness that kept us in the game had to be pulled back. I think Warren and Alexander play the same type of game. Still with that said, 5 turnovers in the fourth quarter and not getting Wiehl the ball underneath in the second half is what changed this game. Alexander will be a tough out this post season. Congrats to them.
