The Cadets continue the inconsistent play and lose 52-47 at home.

Amazing, win at Caldwell, and lose at The Fort. Almost unheard of.

This was my first chance to see Fort Frye play this year. I thought Monroe had a better game plan and deserved to win. I was proud of the Cadet players for just about willing themselves back into the game at the end. I didn't really understand Fort Frye's strategy of working the ball down low to a kid who was giving up about 4 inches in the low post, but by that point in the game, I was just happy to see them have any kind of offensive objective at all.
Or maybe Monroe just played great defense.

With the players they have and their style of play it doesn't add up either. Must just play down to the level of competition. Anybody have any stats on this one?

I think the style of play is the answer. To win consistently, you have to be able to withstand an off shooting night. Monroe did a good job on Anderson and it took a long time to switch over to a plan B.

Cadets need to find a way to bring it for every opponent they beat Monroe by 19 in Woodsfield.
