#4 has 14 pts 11 reb in the first half. Fairland dominating backboards. I think they were about 1-7 3s.

Very, very impressed with Fairland. Majority of players, including all 5 starters, are sophomores. Wow! Special group.

This is interesting to me...I was curious to know if all of these fabulous sophomores are all "home grown" Fairland kids or if any of them are transfers in. I'm not accusing anyone, as this is within the rules of the OHSAA (not that I think it is a good rule), but I was curious if anyone knows. They certainly wouldn't be the only team to have that situation if some are in fact, transfers. It is mighty impressive if they are all Proctorville residents

It is incredibly impressive if they've all been born and raised there.

I know Isaiah Howell, the 6'3" athlete who had 20 points and 16 rebounds, is originally from Gallia County. I believe he started off at Gallipolis in JH, but moved to Fairland in 8th grade. (someone correct me if I'm wrong).

With the state of affairs of basketball at Gallia Academy, can anyone actually blame him? He seems to be in a good spot.

Yes. They are all proctorville boys. All but Howell went thru our buddy league program and yes Howell is originally from gallia co, but move to fairland around 7th grade. Don't know the situation why, but people move for different reasons. These kids have worked there butts off n most of them play AAU for various teams. Soooo, doubters n wanderers dont. Cause there all legit, just a group of kids that have worked very hard and love the game.
