Saw Brookhaven at the All-Ohio Preview at Westerville South HS last Friday. They are good, not great, but athletic as always. They have some decent size, but Chillicothe should match up with them pretty well.

I'm planning on being at the Brookhaven vs. CHS game on Saturday, and it should be a good one. I have been touting Chillicothe as the regional champion out of Athens, so I have high expectations when I watch them tomorrow.

This game will be a very good test for Chillicothe, as I'm quite sure that the Bearcats will be no pushover for CHS. Brookhaven could come away with the win if the Cavaliers do not play well. And I would like to add that BHS will not be intimidated in any way by CHS.

typical sloppy early season effort from chillicothe. been following Kellough coached teams the last 4 years and for some reason or another they seem to struggle early in the season but i aint complaining bc they always peak at the perfect time right before tournaments. Ray Chambers was the only Cav that brought his A game tonight with 29 pts and a couple sweet dunks. Chilli opened the game up 21-7 and then just slowly fell apart. Very bad last 3 quarters for Hitchens. if he plays remotely average chilli wins this one easily.

and thats just how it is...Dshanton3

See where Chillicothe is at Zanesville on Jan. 25. That should be a dandy.

Heres to Z-Ville and the Cavs both having successful seasons. With Z-Ville making the playoffs in football and having a nice run in B-ball, it could be a nice year.

Good luck to both teams...

GO CAVS!!

Funny. We have the same questions regarding Cedric Harris. I think we have the kids who can deal with it (he's not on the floor 24/7), but like with Hitchens, that's a huge hole to fill.

Knights is really running the point right now. Humpty is playing more of a 2 guard (did so late last year as well). Knights is one of the unsung heroes on the team. The issue if either go down is the depth behind them. We have the ability to go big (Beverly go to the 2 guard) or bring in a young Mike Turner who is getting some quality minutes.

What I like about the team is parts are interchangeable. Obviously if Hump is in foul trouble or injured, we have to pick up his scoring. That can be said of most teams.

The good news is we are getting some quality minutes from the bench right now. That will help later in the year and into next year.

GO CAVS!!!

Especially after tonights game with Jackson :?:

Free Throws...They have to start making those that's for sure. Especially against teams like we are playing against tomorrow. We missed several tonight.

Good Luck Blue and White :!:
