Tyler Carrol is a descent shooter, but he doesn't see the floor that well and throws a lot of risky passes. Tyler is not ready to play varsity. Coach Baum knows what he is doing and the JV's record proves that.

Eastern Alumni wrote:i dont know what problem coach baum has on the carroll boy but he is a heck of a shooter and he could actually help out the varsity team with him and the lynch boy shooting the lights of the three....every game the carroll boy hits a three during the jv game and then gets yanked out by the coach....if the coach would give carroll a chance he would help them out greatly but you cant do anything only getting to play 2 minutes at a time....u cant get your rhythm....the hendrix boy is a great shooter also and he sees the floor very well he should help out the team alot this year on jv and next year on the varsity level

From what I heard Eastern won the JV game, so the coach must not have to big of a problem.

Jake is gonna make a great ball player down the road, hes already really good, but with him only being a sophmore, i look for things only to get better out of him... Harrison and Smith are also great players... they shoot lights out and have great passing skills... glad to see Arnold get up there in the scoring column... :)

Bassmaster- I agree none of the JV are ready for Varsity. But they will be next year. These boys have played together for a long time and Coach Baum has coached them for a long time. Im not saying I agree on some of his aspects of coaching, but they are winning and I guess thats what counts. I think the Stone boy and the Barrett boy need more playing time. They are strong underneath when they're in. But hey I'm a fan watching from the sidelines and not coaching.

This was a nice little rival between the two student sections then they shake hands with each other after the game thats great. Jake lynch was great last night 1 shy of cozarts 3 record witch is 9 jake had 8. the carroll boy needs to be on the floor more i thank just my opinion he shoots lights out when he is in key when he is in. but like i said just my opinion and everyone knows what opinions are like. but jake lynch is going to be something special down the road if he is not already love to watch him play

Nathan quit a couple of weeks back.

As far as Tyler goes playing time is determined in scrimmages, practice and actual game time. If he improves enough I'm sure Coach Baum will give him his deserved playing time.
