Piketon at Unioto 2004 both teams late in the season fighting for a league championship. Their student section was right behind our bench. Now dont get me wrong, I dont mind a good loud cheering student section. Our kids and coaches, me one of them had m&m's, and pennies thrown at us, an unrolled condom was also thrown on our kids and 1 of our kids were spit on when the game turned in our favor late in the game which we won!

I agree that administrators have a tough call on this one, but things like this situation is why they have to! Kids are kids, they will push the envelope as far as possible and beyond sometimes!

Had an SVC fan, (Southeastern) toss some tobacco on the floor during the 1999 Sectional Title game. We had them, but then Tyler Barbee decided to go nuts and we lost to the #1 seed.

Nothing wrong with the league, just Unioto~! lol Since that time the league has said no student sections are allowed behind the visitors bench!

I dont see the Indians dropping this game, too much to play for, undefeated in the league and no coach wants to end the regular season with a loss going into tourney time!

Crab's Bro,

I just relived that game in my mind, all the way from the stunned look of everyone in the gym except for us as players/coaches, to the tobacco being tossed on the floor, to "Reggie Red" D'ing Schrader (sp?) up, to you guys following our game plan PERFECTLY! darn, that was a heckuva ball game!!

Will never be a Tiger fan, but the officials are letting Valley push and hack like crazy. Waverly up 36-33 at the half.

36-33 waverly at the half.

Great 1st half of hoops. Kretzer has to be around 20 points. Basically being kretzer.

Valley with just 2 first half turnovers. The tigers couldn't have many more.

Yates with 12 and 7.

West has 9. Dwyer and reihl with 4 each.

I think Jean Paul White hit the game winning shot at the horn.
Radio said Kretzer had 35.

White hit the three with 3 seconds left. Yates had a shot from about 35 ft at the buzzer, but it was wide. Hats off to both teams. Hands down, the best game I've seen this year. The two teams went at it from buzzer to buzzer. Waverly led by six at one point, but it was a three point game most of the way. Both teams have a shot to make a big run in the tourney. Good luck to both...Congrats Tigers!!! Exactly what was needed headed to tourney time...
