Looks like the 1st part of the schedule is brutal. The Eagles open with 3 away games and 5 of the 1st 7 on the road. At Meigs, at Fort Frye and at Warren. Throw in a game at Rio Grande against Wheelersburg and a home contest against Waterford, the boys better come to play. Looks like one of the toughest schedules that Belpre's had in recent years.

Dec 5 @ Meigs
6 @ Fort Frye
10 @ Warren
12 Nelsonville York
13 @Wheelersburg (Rio Grande)
16 Waterford
19 @ Wellston
Jan 6 Warren
9 Alexander
10 @ Southern (Marietta College)
13 @ Waterford
16 Athens
17 River Valley
27 @ Vinton Co
30 @ Alexander
Feb 3 Wellston
6 @ Nelsonville York
13 Vinton Co
17 @ Athens
20 Meigs

Go Eagles

Belpre will have to be on their game the whole season. The first 5-6 games will be tough.
Good luck Belpre

Good luck Eagles. The hard work that you've put in this summer and fall will payoff "bigtime".......

tribetime wrote:Haha. I have to agree with eastern. Chalk up four losses for the Eagles at the hands of Warren and FF. Who knows if Plummer and the boys will overcome the loss of Micah and a 43 point blowout nightmare at Warren last year. The park won't prepare you for what awaits at the Warrior Coliseum.

80-37. dang.

Micha will not be a key lose to the team he was very lazy and didn't create a good atmosphere in the locker room though they did lose some weight with him but he was 6 10 and couldn't dunk so .... what I am tring to say is they'll be fine with out him

I don't think he played in the second game against Warren. If I remember right he was already gone.

Different Belpre team and a different Warren team. Both on the younger side, should be another great game.

Micah did not play in the 80-37 debacle at warren at last year, but trust me everyone at BHS remembers that blowout, they will come out firing at Warren this year, a little redemption this year? I think so

When are these kids gonna learn??? I'll bet he gets them to where they need to be...but it shouldn't come down to that. If you want to play anywhere at the next level...you cant be just scraping by to barely be eligible in high school unless you're an all american...and no one in the TVC is quite up to all american status

Belpre looked really good last night vs Fed Hock in the season's first scrimmage.
The new offense seems to blend very well with the skill sets of our players. Tate and Waderker's ability to drive to the basket put constant pressure on the Lancer defense as well as opened up the outside for the 3 ball. The dribble drive also set up little dump passes inside, giving Loyland and Azar the ball in point blank range of the basket. The defense is what impressed me the most. This team looks to be much much better in that department. Saw lots of helping, talking, and selling out on the d side of the ball. All things that were missing last season. It's quite evident this team has talent but last night gave hope(although 1 scrimmage) that they may jell in to something special.

last night i was at belpre's bonanza and they really looked good, they suprised me actually....they have a real good set of guards and also big people.....but really dont understand a few people being on the team....jordan williams and tyler leasure have no reason to be out there...waderker had plenty of good passes to leasure and he couldnt catch
