SHL does not give out a player of the year award. Only 15 member All-League team and Coach of the Year.

Looks like there were 17 spots this year....and even with the two extra Ricketts wasn't selected.

I'd say Ricketts was a victim of numbers. Combs was a no brainer and the 2nd player was going to be between West and Ricketts. Both had good seasons and were deserving but Manchester was only going to get a maximum of 2 players. I'm actually surprised that Eastern got 3 players on. I don't recall 3 players from one team being selected before.

Last year Blake Justice, Andy Countryman and Trent Arey all made the team from Peebles. I think its because they won the league and had the best record....same for Eastern this year!

Looks like in 2009-10 season Peebles had four with Blake Justice, Andy Countryman, Eric Collier, and Andrew Seaman...there again they won the league and had the best record.

2008-2009 season Peebles had Tyler Arnold, Blake Justice Andrew Seaman and North Adams had Kraig Unger, Sam Louden, and Tyler Jimison

I stand corrected on not seeing more than 2 from a team. Thanks for the info Rooster.

You could probably add Jordan Mitchell from Ripley also. The Blue Jays win when he plays well...and they have won a lot this season.
