My Indians will have to play their best game of the season to win this one. Trojans are probably double digit favorites. I do like some of the matchups in this one though. McKinley/Daniels, Evans/Arey, etc.

Portsmouth seems to be the best in the area. I have seen most of the Elite 8 play this year but have not seen the Trojans yet. Might have to get out and observe them play!!

Mickinly is a level or two above Daniels . Portsmouth by 20. Just to deep and athletic.

I spotted coach Collins at the Peebles/Paint Valley game tonight. Can't wait for Tuesday. This will be my indians' toughest test by far this season.

How big is Daniels? I read TribeManiac's post about him breaking the single-game rebounding record at Peebles with 22 boards tonight. From following them here, he's had an impressive season. If he can indeed match-up well with McKinley, that will be very impressive. I wish I could go Tuesday night and watch these two teams play.

He is 6'6", maybe 6'7" with shoes. He is having a pretty strong year averaging about 15.5ppg 12rpg and a little over 3 blocks per game. McKinley is probably the best big in southeast Ohio but I can guarantee Jake will bring everything he has tuesday. These two have played each other multiple times in the last couple years in AAU and during the summer in scrimmages and it is always fun to watch. Our guards played well against Paint Valley tonight as well. I think what will decide this game is the matchups on the wing. We are very unexperienced, with the exception of Trent Arey, but all our guards have the potential to be very good in the future. Im interested to see how we handle the pressure Whitley and Evans put on us.

This should be an interesting game and will be a good test for Peebles, but I'm gonna go with Portsmouth. Peebles has a tough week ahead of them but it's a good thing and help prep them for the tournament.

I agree. I like the fact that we play Portsmouth, Eastern Brown, North Adams, and Piketon right before the tourny.

PHS has to stay focused and not let the Indians play their style
and not get behind. Peebles ususally plays very well
in games the people think they do not have a chance.
Trojans stay on your game. Go Trojans

Come' on now...don't be a hater....Peebles shouldn't lose to EB, they only lost by two points at their last match-up and shouldn't have lost that game. I'm sure you weren't there so you don't know how many shots they missed under the bucket... Offensively they have been getting stronger. Don't count the Indians out...they are young but they are hungry!!!

Trojans are coming off their best overall game of the season, especially the best second half of the season.........outscoring a good Chillicothe team 36-13 after halftime.

Very proud of Coach Collins and our Trojans........they play great team basketball........and the bench play has been terrific.........the win over Chillicothe was the 40th time in school history that a Trojan team has won 15 or more games.

Peebles is a quality opponent, and I believe our kids will be ready for a challenge. To my knowledge, I think this is the first meeting ever between the two schools.

GO TROJANS!!

I think this one could be a lot closer than people think. Especially if Portsmouth takes Peebles lightly. I do think Daniels will have trouble staying in front of Mckinley, and may not be able to run the floor with Mckinley. But some size and a big body could bother Mckinley.
Portsmouth by 14.
