Shouldn't you be in class, studentsection?

Peake waits until I get there at halftime to turn up the heat and wins it 74-68.

Halftime
Chesapeake 30
Fairland 25

Salyers 9
McMaster 9

Peake played some zone. First time I've ever seen that.

Nice win by the Panthers. It's very tough to beat anybody 3 times in a season, particularly a rivalry game and even more impressive is the fact that they did it to a team as talented as Fairland.

You know the old cliche, "the game was closer than the score"? It was true tonight. Fairland and Peake were very close, if not equal in FGs made and most other stats, but the poor Dragons just couldn't hit FTs consistently all night, especially the 2nd half, while the Panthers made almost all of theirs.

I reckon there'll be lotsa FT practice this coming week in the Dragons' Den.

From the herald dispatch;
Friday night, Fairland (13-4, 6-2 OVC) led going into the final period, 38-37. The Panthers scored the first six points in the fourth period -- two free throws by Brandon Noble and four by Eric Kennedy -- to go up, 43-38, and pulled away from there. They had just two baskets in the final eight minutes, but converted 17 of 19 free throws.
