We have to be honest here. Eastern had a huge win against Southern, and Eastern did indeed play harder than Southern in that game as anyone at that game knows. However, Southern also played very poorly down the stretch by continuing to shoot quick shots and fouling with the lead, to enable Eastern to get back in the game, and once they got momentum, they won the game. Outside of that, Eastern has beat Alex, Meigs, and Trimble. The point I'm making is that Eastern had some early success, but in the long run, the method of kids only wanting to play for certain coaches and not wanting to put in the extra time (like playing four years of high school basketball) will never lead to a successful season for a team. This is not meant to be disrespectful to the new coach or team, I'm sure if they stick with it they will do better in the future.
