Notre Dame folks will laugh. They only lost one starter from last season and have a 6-1 freshman point guard that may be all conference to add to their team....

Symmes Valley has their leading scorer back and a JV team that was outstanding moving up....

I guess what I am saying is every game in the league will be a dog fight this year! It is difficult to predict where everyone will fall...

i think NB will place higher than that 7th to, they also had a pretty good j.v, symmes valley only beat them by 6 last year and NB's jv record was 13-7 so dont count them out they will open some eyes if they play together as a team they also have a good coaching staff!!!!!

Agree. NB will be competitive. Do you think they will be as good as last years team?

I don't see a Josh Howell on this team. I think with the boy from Green, you will compete and maybe upset a few folks in the cracker jack box gym(adds 10 points to NB). But, no way you will be as good and NB only beat Eastern by roughly 8-10 points both games last year....

Eastern will be a tough out for NB this season.

My point is look at the league. Who will you be favored against?
Western? nope
Eastern? nope
Green? nope
East? nope?
Symmes Valley? nope
Notre Dame? nope
Clay? Yes

I'm not saying you couldn't beat any of these teams. But I am saying these teams will beat NB more often than NB could beat them. Time will tell.
Do you disagree with those picks?

Im an East fan and having them at #2 in the league right now is a little generous in my opinion. They def. have some good athletes, most of them play football for a team that has won 21 of their last 22 games but they need some kids to step up this year to compete for the title.

Who is the 6-1 freshman point guard that you are talking about?

i hope clay surprises us this year but i dont think they will do to the loss of talent they had last year. believe it or not they had talent between the seniors. evan keaton was a big man but didnt really use his size. zach parker was a very quick player with a good jump shot. the only players i know of that can really do some damage this year is t.j. mershon with his shooting ability and possibly jacob crapyou if he can get low and pull down some rebounds. shawn ratcliff can help in the rebounding department. i dont know if derrick mccleese returned to clay this year but i heard that he was a very good shooter and being around 6'1 or so and could dunk. if anyone could fill me in on the status of mccleese it would be appreciated.
