You know it's funny that I mentioned that the Trojans played "street ball" and had a "me, me, me" attitude in the game against the Burg and got blasted for it, but yet if you go to the thread about the Portsmouth/Chillicothe game their own fans are saying the same things I did.

By the way, congrats to the Trojans for beating the Burg.

by the way,I can bring up a couple football games where it was YOU saying,where are the folks from Minford, etc ,to give burg their due,,,WE ALWAYS DO AFTER A LOSS.

Let's not forget, the Trojans JV team won as well. The Trojans were 2-0 against the Burg that night. Go Trojans! Tradition showed its face that night. Good luck the rest of the season Burg, us at PHS are rooting for you!!

BTW, the Trojan fans showed up in force for this game. Great community support for the Trojans! It's a great time to be a Trojan.

Why was the burg kids at the Portsmouth game rooting hard for Chillocothie????? You would think they would be rooting for Portsmouth since thats there only loss............

sportsfan43, go back and read my first post after the game and you will see that I did say the Trojans were the better team and I did wish them luck the rest of the season. Though I didn't come right out and congratulate them on the win, which was wrong of me, I did wish them well and I mean that. I honestly hope they win it all since it helps our area get recognition, just like I was glad to see South Webster win it all. I just saw some flaws in their team chemistry that I figured would haunt them eventually and I was right.

As for the Burg kids rooting for Chilli, I can name you numerous ocassions where fans from other local schools have driven hundreds of miles to root against the Pirates in the tournament, so that happens all the time and doesn't surprise me at all.
