If I were OH I wouldn't pat myself on the back to much, this isn't by far a good burg team. I see another loss tonight against Chilly. This is going to be a ugly season.

Since you don't think this is a very good Burg team and it will be an ugly season, then why don't just stay home and don't waste your money on going to games. I figure on a 15-5 or 16-4 season for this team, a possible SOC title, and a fairly decent tourney run. They will have trouble in the districts with the likes of Huntington, Federal Hocking, and Fairland probably being there in the draw, but it not going to be an ugly season as you put it. Most teams would kill for a 15 win season, but some Burg fans are so spolied that a 13 to 15 win season is considered ugly. Give them a chance to get a few games under their belt and this team will be fine.

If you can't support them 100%, then stay home.

disagree mobsterman

Love is a tough matchup and a great shooter...Borden didn't give much of any effort to score last night....passed up a few that I couldn't believe.

That's what makes Oak Hill so dangerous.....key on Love...Borden explodes.....Key on Hale, Ondera takes over. This team has 4 great scorers and a very good freshman.

Already in 4 games Borden, Love, Hale and Ondera have scored very well...I'd be shocked if each of them doesn't have a few 20+ point games.

And Ondera...their smallest player had 9 rebounds last night

Oak Hill has a lot of room to improve as they keep playing together....a little scary

Since Oak Hill has dropped to D IV this season, it wouldn't suprise me to see them in Columbus come March. Maybe Stormin' Norman will finally do what he never could do at Chesapeake, win a regional title.

Oak Hill coach said on radio show this morning Bordon had jammed wrist before Wheelersburg game. Kids said he has been sick with sinus infection since before the Wellston game. Love is a good player.

Oak Hill will have a very tough time in the regionals. Africentric is back in D 4 along with Worthington Christian who is loaded with athletes. D4 regional is actually going to be tougher then D 3 regional this year and next.

Ondera 11 points and his numbers 11, 9 rebounds use to be in the 9th grade, 14-12 turnovers score 41-43 won by 2, JV won by 2...... conspiracy i think sooo!!!!

I love how the Oak Hill fans have accepted losing!

Wheelersburg has won so many games that they have a right to not accept mediocrity unlike other schools!!

Burg fans get upset when they lose, they don't accept it. Other schools accept it and move on. Burg does not handle losing very well compared to other schools. They are not use to it. Other schools are use to it so they accept it and go on. Then when they do win, after 10 years, they act like they won a World Championship! All the props to Oak Hill for winning, but Burg will never accept or handle losing.

I don't think that any losing that Oak Hill has done in the past would be considered accepting it. Coaches don't lose jobs just because losing is accepted.

I think that your girls celebrated pretty heavily when they beat Oak Hill this year. Was that because they accepted losing to them all those years. Doubt it. They wanted to beat us just as bad as anyone. Same goes for our boys.

You are right about the Burg part, but very wrong on the Oak Hill part.

AM NOT... ARE TOO... AM NOT... ARE TOO...

First of all, shooting 30% from the field will not win many ball games. Also just above 50% from the foulline will not either.

Let it go already. This game is now history. It does not matter whether one thinks Burg was homered or not. This game is over... Done... Oak Hill won the game. Burg, and the fans, will have to deal with it.

We will see how far both teams progress when they meet again at Burg.
