they will finish in the top middle is my guess they returned most of the team only lost 3 seniors. they return 4 starters and this summer played very well. They played fed hock this summer and beat them by ten.

One thing is for sure, its hard to win on the road in the TVC. This has nothing to do with officiating. These team protect the home court well. The key is win all your home game and steal a couple on the road. I'm not sure about Federal Hocking, I've heard not many players out this summer. As always there will be upsets but this is the better of the two divisions as far as being competitive. In the Ohio you got Athens and Vinton Co. then maybe Nelsonville and the rest not so much.

must not of been the same Waterford team I saw!! because I did not think they had that much talent and did not play that well! and all those returns we just small role players they lost a good chunk of there score and playmakers! but maybe they can move up to middle of the pack!

Waterford lost Austin Shriver who was the leading scorer and brian Moore who tried to be the defensive stopper and both players will be replaced by players just as good this year if not better

People picking SG to win this league. WOW. If they do win it, it would have to go down in history as the weakest year ever by any league ever in the state of ohio.

Lots of people interested in such a "weak" conference it seems.

More comments on TVC-Hocking than most others isn't there?

Southern's success lies in the hands of Triston Wolfe and the effectiveness of the inside game to open up the guards. Need a big year out of Drummer inside. Physicality and fundamentals will be the name of the game.

Southern played in the shoot out at Caldwell in June. Did this Wolfe kid that everyone is talking about on here play that day? I was there watching my son, I remember Southern having some big bangers in the paint but they didn't have much skill from anything I saw that day. I would imagine their size could cause some issues.

I wasn't there at that time but I would imagine that he did. Tristen is a "high-motor" player and a tremendous overall athlete that is 6'2" and left-handed. He was ALL-TVC, and 1st team All-District, as well as ALL-Ohio Honorable mention last year as a sophomore and will be even better this year. He would DEFINITELY be on my list of top 10 players in SE Ohio, and is without question one of the top defensive players in the area.

Miller is decent but he isn't going to dominate and is not as good as Dakota Hoffman I think Belpre will be like a 12-10 team.

I think people are counting FH out too quickly. Howie will have his team ready, and there are some teams in the Hocking that Howie just does not lose to very often, if ever. If it comes down to coaching there are no matches in that area to Howie. :12224
