Burg kids played hard a usual. Congrats on a great season

Burg got the game they needed from prep but just unable to pull it out. Prep didn't score in the 2nd and burg only put up 6 you can't do that with superior teams. Burg had a great season and those seniors should be proud of their accomplishments.

Did anyone hear the announcement after game? Sounded to me like they said Harvest Prep seniors had just played in their 301st game. I had to have heard that wrong

How many seniors are there?
4 years and a minimum of 23 games each of those 4 years. 1 player 23 games 4 years is 92 games if he played in every game from his freshman year on. But they have played more than 23 games each year.

I have always seen it calculated 4 seniors 25 games a year they played in 100 games, not 400

Loser6309, you and the other Burg haters enjoy your moment to gloat! You've been waiting for Burg to lose and they did. I wasn't at the game either but it sounds like yabba is right on the money about cold shooting affecting the games outcome! That happens sometimes but, Burg overall Burg played a helluva game! So for all the haters, enjoy your moment then go back to your schools of mediocrity and sit back and wait for Burgs next state run because they are great in all sports (girls and boys) you won't have a long wait!

It was their head coach’s 301st victory.

What happened to McCorkle in the 2nd half? Thought he gave them good minutes in the 1st half and gave them that extra inside presence. He played the 2nd qtr and HP did not score. I know it wasn't all him but he gave them good minutes.

HP HAD 2 points in the 2nd quarter

It was a 4 point game with a little over 5 minutes to go in the 4th quarter then Burg went cold but it was a hell of an effort by Burg they had a chance to win it . Congrats BURG on a great season and good luck to prep the rest of the way

Great season burg. They had to play perfect the entire game to win this and unfortunately had a four minute stretch where they went cold. Burg was well prepared and played well.

I don’t think they did. It was 21 to 12 at the end of the first and 21 to 18 at half

McCorkle did a nice job when he was in there.

I believe Coach Ater was needful of someone -/ anyone to get hot from outside and went another direction once they got behind
