Tough go around. Very physical, a bit much IMO but you have those a few times. Waverly very good at using their bodies in defense, good form that doesn’t get called. Jackson plays this style as well. Some of the stuff in the lane not called was too much but everyone knew this a few minutes in.

I thought Brown and Wolfe were pivotal in keeping ball moving quickly on offense for Waverly in getting their big lead in the first half. Robertson was solid all game, in control nothing forced. Stulley has been great on defense all his life and nothing has changed there. Futhey best up and down the court post player around.

Jackson battled all night...2nd half played well. Good fight in them. Bragg had a nice game on both ends. Hammond battled all night and did well. I thought Erwin and Prater were solid with their minutes. Woodard game some good time and hit a nice 3. Kuhn got going offensively in the 2nd half...everyone played hard. Head up 8-1.....big things ahead, stay focused!

Big win for Waverly as Jackson came in undefeated at 8-0. Waverly definitely came out ready to play. A one point loss and a double OT loss didn't set well with this team.

Big game for Phoenix Wolf starting for Wheeler who is out injured. Radio had him with 12 boards and 8 points. He's playing with confidence and getting better every game. Waverly's bigs are doing a nice job finishing around the rim. Stulley creates havoc with his defense. And then of course there's Trey.

Jackson is a fine ball team and they're well coached. These two teams have had some really good games over the last few years. The tournament is going to be interesting.

Yeah, looks like Waverly is pay-per-view on their stream.

Good win for Waverly. Both teams were hit with the injury bug so neither team was with their usual lineups.

Waverly kinda dominated the game from the tip, from guard play to bigs they just looked like the better team all around. Even when Jackson made their run in the second half, it never felt like Waverly lost control of the game. Jackson seemed to be a little deeper than Waverly, Waverly pretty much played 5 with one sub getting a couple of min in the first half. Both teams you could tell were exhausted, but the pace the Tigers were able to sustain with only playing 5 was pretty impressive. Would like to see these two teams meet up in tournaments fully healthy.

You can slowly start to see this Waverly team getting on track, hopefully they can get Wheeler back soon and continue to build on it. They have the potential to be very good.

Great game to watch, but I felt like I was sitting behind two angry parents they way the Waverly announcers were hollering at the officials!!

Both teams gonna be a tough out come tourney time.

Refs definitely swallowed the whistle all night on both sides. They were at least somewhat consistent. But there were many calls that should have been made on both sides, in the second half Jackson took advantage of the no calls by getting very handsy with Waverly's guards because they did not have the speed to stay in front. Just like Waverly's bigs were able to play very physical underneath with the no calls.
