Unbelievable season and run in the tournament. Not many schools let alone teams can hang a state final 4 banner, đź‘Š.

Proud of everyone tonight regardless of the outcome. Our fans travelled in bunches and made an impact at times. Trey didn’t have the best night shooting and we were killed by the 3 ball. Unbelievable season. 52 years in the making and it happened. Now begins the fun part of replacing one of the best players in SEO and 4/5 starters

Dang, several things to take from that Waverly with 15 more shot attempts. GA hitting 10-20 from 3 and Waverly only hitting 5 of them, most glaring might be the 24 FTs attempted to Waverly's 8?? WOW.

Not sure of all the seniors plans for next level, but ones I do know is

Will Futhey has some D1 offers in football, so would love to see him take a chance with that. Awesome kid, extremely hard working.

His brother Wade has committed to Capital University for football

Penn Morrison imo has a solid chance to play either football or tennis at the next level If he gets an opportunity. Another one who’s very talented!

And not sure the location yet, but we can only assume Trey will go on to play college basketball somewhere, we all know he’s more than deserving to!

Absolutely amazing season for Waverly. These boys were so fun to watch and seeing the chemistry they have together is truly something to see. They have worked their tails off for years now to earn where they made it tonight!

Our coaching staff also deserves a huge shoutout. For all the extra time they put in during the season to make sure our boys are well conditioned, opponent scouted and teaching it to our players deserves a round of applause. A lot of smart basketball minds with the crew we have!!

For the boys returning, time to get to work! Continue to have the “all in” mindset and we can keep this momentum rolling. To the 6 graduating seniors we have, you guys have been so fun to watch and us fans are thankful for the time you’ve put in and the accomplishments you’ve earned. Good luck to you all as you move into the next chapter of life! Tiger Pride!

Proud of the Tigers! Anybody who can say they made it to the final 4 in anything can be proud and they are indeed in rare air. I will miss these seniors a whole bunch…great players and kids.

Hard for me not to support Irontons lucky fortune with people moving after seeing firsthand the difference once you get to the state level.

Hard to unders$tand how a governing body will let $UCH a glaring advantage for $ome $chools happen to thi$ magnitude. It’s like OH$AA cares more about $omething Other than Fair Competitive balance.

Almost like with the already 7 divisions that we have it wouldn’t be too hard to clear out a whole Division or 2 for Private Schools that recruit.

In football a couple of players, make you better but not as much as basketball. One or two additions to a basketball, can really change a team.

Congrats to the Tigers on a great season . Represented well on the big stage and made the community proud .
Where are the kids from Gilmore Academy going ? Heard one who looked like their best player in the semifinal game was gong to D-2 Fairmont but nothing about the others .
