When is the last time Minford scored this low??

... when you lose 98% pf the offensive output to graduation - it takes time for the new folks to figure out how to score and who to lean on TO score & when to take shots from where they want or need to be taking the shots ... throw in a new coaching staff ... lots of "things" to work out ... got to get video to begin instructing on what the coaches want from the players - takes time, games under their belts, learning requires failing, patience ...

You're not wrong, man. Ever since that 2017 run it's like the whole program hit the world's longest pothole. I have NO idea what happened over there.

BUT - hey - at least they're scoring a little more than they have the past few years these past two games, even though it's not much more. Baby steps, brother. Baby steps.

When is the last time Minford scored this low??

Probably 4 years ago when Montgomery and Co. were freshmen in tourney loss to Burg. But that's the point...anybody from minford somehow expecting a big season probably ought to just fast forward 2 years. You graduate a class like Minford just did and it going to be a big falloff (think Waverly after their Final Four season a few years back).

What I see from Minford so far though is 2 competitive games against decent teams in Portsmouth and South Point. Probably won't be alot of wins this season, but they going to compete and steal a few wins along the way.*

For the first game out of the box this season, Coach Scarberry's Mohawks came away with a big opening night victory over New Boston. NB was playing without its main player in fairness. Lots of things to tweak for both teams this week in practice.
