There is a chance for ice in some places in Ohio. With some of it maybe at the end of the game or on the drive home. Snow is one thing but ice is different. Going from freezing rain to ice is not worth someone getting hurt. Even if it is walking out in the parking lots. Or having students out attempting to drive in it. It may not be bad but if it is then it is to late to call the game off.
So for those who are playing be safe and there are farmers with tractors to pull you out of some places if needed.

I've been apart of a game where they cancelled the varsity game after the other 2 games had started and it was nice beforehand. Driving home in that ice was a nightmare. So, if you're going to a game(like me) be safe coming home if it has started at all. I'm hoping for nothing at all, at least until late.

Although the Freezing rain and snow never happened I think the threat was real enough and putting the safety of the kids and fans first, was the right thing to do.I kinda enjoyed staying home and listening to the Wahama-S.Gallia webcast.
