Just wondering why games are called off so often, being from up north it is surprising at the number of cancelled game ever week down south, could be up north we are a little more used to the bad weather?

Our roads and hills are more hazardous than your flat interstates up north. If you don't believe me then take a pleasure ride on state route 93 the next time it snows.

Is this game still on? The Chillicothe-Logan and Gallipolis-Jackson games have been postponed. Don't know about Marietta-Warren Local.

I was just wondering would the state push back sectionals so schools can make up their games?Dont know if this is possible,or has anything similar ever occured?Sure it would cause a scheduling nightmare.Trojan Dave any ideas?

If it's not made up then it's not that big of a deal, because we all know the SOC and OVC are gonna force an Ironton-Portsmouth matchup in the sectionals anyway.

like Tobias posted, I was thinking Ironton already had a make up game on wed.

but the main reason I said we prob would not get it in tom,,,we are supposed to get 4 to 5 more inches of snow again tonight

No hold on, didn't you tell me down at The Ribber just two hours or so ago that you and Trojan Dave both agreed that you'd dodged a bullet not having to face Ironton again and why reschedule a sure loss?

balltime: I have never seen sectionals pushed back because of regular season makeup games.......and I don't foresee the SE District board doing that this year. The OHSAA takes over from the Regionals on, and those dates are set......so it wouldn't be feasible to set back the sectionals.

If the game is played Wednesday, I won't be able to make it......have to work.....I'll let the "man row" take care of the vocal support........it will be the first game I have missed......home or road......in 8 years....... :122247

But I knew this day would eventually come.......

GO TROJANS!!!
