Warren is looking very good right now, espicially considering Austin Cunningham is out. Congrats guys you have proved you can win the tight ballgames down the stretch this will prove invaluable in a few weeks. Does anyone know when AC will return? This team is already very very tough, but you add AC back in the mix..wow

Congrats to the Warriors on a HUUUUUGE win and great time for it after being snowed in for the past week.
Warrior C C Player of the Game goes to Clay Ellenwood! Outstanding Job! Talking about Shots that were Clutch! Every one the senior made seemed to have perfect timing! also Fivecoait played well underneath with key rebounds all night and scoring help. Hastie contributed on both ends with several clutch free throws and great D on Mr. Turner.
Venham needed the help from somewhere because he had some problems among the twin towers inside. Venham seemed to change several shots in mid-air instead of using his strong body and taking it to the much weaker center.
Also would really benefit with kicking the ball backout once hes double and triple teamed , as he will see come tourney time. This would help against any zone defense that Im sure the Warriors will see as well.
With the return of AC looming, will be interesting to see how the Warriors adjust. Still think that the Warriors are one scoring threat away from the outside to make this a Dangerous Team! Just seems that taking some pressure off of Venham and the help he is getting from FIVECOAIT,ELLENWOOD,HASTIE, that one more piece of the puzzle could be the outside border! Just not sure where thats going to come from? Knost is good inside but still has showed no signs of an outside game, Lang just to unstable from trey land, so if the Warriors find that piece, then lookout! Three games -Marietta,Logan,Gallia can maybe be where they try and find that answer?
So Good Luck Warriors and :o The sun comes up tmrw!

Clay great Job and good to see ya get that shot back and the confidence! And as I told ya after the game, Best part was when ya took the big man to the hole inside, Gives you 2 weapons! Keep it up !
Great job Hastie in playing another BIG role in the varsity game! Great free throw shooting, and just makes the varsity team look alot more confident when you are on the floor!
Jv looked good again. Great job Ward,Windland, and Henthorn! Free throws were huge. All 3 of you guys made the hard work pay off! Must have a great shooting coach? An athletic, quick team at its core, Chillicothe has the unfortunate tendency to wilt in pressure situations -- which was the case in Friday's 43-42 loss at home against Vincent Warren. It's not the defense, which has been solid throughout, and wasn't again against the Warriors. The Cavs' struggles this season have been almost exclusive to the offense.

Some of it is the X's and O's of the game, but that's not the biggest problem. Some of it is simple fundamentals, like throwing the right kind of pass or picking the right spot for the right kind of shot. But, again, that's not the biggest problem.

The Cavaliers' highest hurdle is something even simpler than that.

"Put this in there," Cavs coach Gary Kellough said. "This team has frustrated this coaching staff from Day 1 to this game tonight. And it's because their basketball knowledge is so limited that we just can't get over that."

That problem was on display a few times against Warren but never more than in the final minute-plus of the fourth quarter.

Quote from Coach Kellough in todays Gazette

Coach you should step back and take alook at your self before you start calling out the kids in a public forum, this team is a reflection of YOU!
Define " Coach" is a trainer of athletes!
If the players are as you say "limited in knowlege" and "individuals" then play the kids that will listen and learn!
Many times coaches play to win at all cost, and that is when they drop the ball!
If you want to ridicule your players for there play, then do it during practice or in the locker room after a game, don't call them out in the local news paper!

"...their basketball knowledge is so limited that we just can't get over that"

So whose fault would that be? Quite a thing to say from the person who has been there a while and is most responsible for "their basketball knowledge"
