I can't see cisco starting over watkins unless Caleb isn't playing right now he's a top 10 or 15 player in our league

I have just recently saw Watkins at the Y. He was working out. And I pecked the window and he didn't see me because of the headphones on his head. Plus there were some girls surrounding him. I would ignore me too in that predicament. Lol
I'm sure he's been playing basketball all summer though. I heard he broke an ankle early in the summer.
And it's probable he's been staying active if I ran into him at the "Y!!" He usually ends up in Gus Macker Tournys. I'd say that's been part of his summer.
My starting 5 for the Eagles this year would be Thornsberry, lands, Hawks... They could all be mixed around. Then Cisco and Watkins. Which I'm sure Watkins can be mixed in guard play, he has the perfect body for high school basketball and can really get off the floor.
Cisco has a lengthy body and can get big rebounds and blocks.

There is no hall on the Eagles squad this year. Are you sure your not talking about Lykins or someone else?

My bad sorry lykins is his name my bad that's the boy I'm talking about he started jv last year he's a nice player seems to know the game goog floor sense I'd say he will get some burn for PJ at the varsity level this year gives them some more depth and he's built pretty good he will take up space in the paint the more I think about easterns squad the more I think they are going to be pretty dang good again.

I think Eastern is flying under the radar a bit..that may be good and i expect them to repeat as SOC champions..i think they return that much talent. They have very good guard play and a couple big men coming up from jv that will hold there own in the paint.

I hear Aaron Satterfield from Western may be transferring to Eastern?? That should be a good combo of Lands, Thornsberry, and Satterfield.

Why would he leave Western and go to eastern and bypass both Piketon and Waverly. Lets be serious, if you are going to leave your home then you want to upgrade your situation. Both teams will be making a pretty good run in the winter.

Bengalfan76, no need for you to high-jack this thread. If you don't like Eastern, stay out and stay away.

In all honesty though, what has Waverly done in basketball???????????????????
How many conference titles have they won? How much tourney success? I salute the Redstreaks for their recent success (although you could argue some of it was due to potentially Eastern's players). But seriously, why would he go to Waverly for basketball?

When a fan thinks basketball "powerhouse", I can assure you the people of southern Ohio DO NOT think Waverly! Eastern has much better basketball tradition historically.

Hit a nerve? Not bashing just saying why would you drive past two programs that will have success this winter. Why not go west to Peebles? Just dont see them driving all the way to Eastern........ History is just that History.... It is for the oldtimers gives them something to talk about when they get together.... Doesnt win games now.... Martin, Kretzler, kelly and company will have a good winter

I tend to disagree with you Eaglesnest on "Eastern has much better basketball tradition historically".

Might want to look into that

All u have to do is buy a program at the convo it breaks down each schools tourney record there's really no comparison eastern pike has a very good basketball history twice what any other team in pike has not saying the other teams haven't had recent succses but overall eastern takes the prize

I have looked into it and i stand by my statement. Waverly has had a few good teams over the years, but year in and year out Eastern has faired better. Lightl04 is a solid western supporter, but he also recognizes this fact. Not a slam, but still a reality.

My question is how many conference, sectional and district championships has waverly won?
