This happens so often. Team just completely dominated most of the game then down team goes into desperation mode with the pressure and often gets away with some defensive pressure that wasn't allowed much of the game...ahead team often tries to sit on it some and just loses all momentum.

Finish should be fun.

How did Fairfield score 3 in 5 seconds with East shooting a ft?

It was tied by Alia brown. Leesburg took it out at 7.2 seconds left. Passed to Jenson Daulton who hit a three from the corner with 2.7 seconds left. Then Leesburg stole the inbounds pass for the win.

Thanks

Daulton is a player

Fairfield is a really well-coached team. They play smart, heads-up basketball. East had the best player on the court, for sure. But, I couldn't get over how the Fairfield coach gets so much out of his kids. And, they don't beat themselves, as some do.

Is this Fairfield's coach? You've used 2 threads now to act like this guy is the best coach you've ever seen.

You said on the other thread "Fairfield is a well oiled machine" and "the best team that played at NW last night." Fairfield won by 3 from a shot with 2.7 seconds left, Clay won by 40. Fairfield was the 4 and beat the 5 seed, which is what's "supposed" to happen.

Now, in terms of a "well oiled machine," you are about to see one first hand in Waterford.... have fun with that!

Who cares if he said it? Are you going to dispute each and every single person like I've seen from you?

Fairfield is one of the best teams in the SE District. That is no lie. Like I keep saying, they play extremely hard for 4 quarters, and leave it all out there for their coach. He has them well prepared and they play hard for him.

He's not taking away that Clay is good, so stop refuting everything that is never mentioned.

It's his opinion, just like yours, let him speak it and not have someone like you to tell him it's wrong...

FF controlled majority of the game and shot the ball well. Yes Waterford may be the real deal but once you get to the convo, you never know what may happen. I do agree with js, it was his opinion so let him speak.

All the little things finally came back to get East last night. Congrats to Akia on a fine career.

I should have posted it on the other thread where he said Fairfield looked better than Clay and he'd take them over Clay. It was early, looked like I quoted the wrong one.

Fine with his opinion, and I'm allowed mine. Clay is better. Really is an irrelevant point anyway as the two wouldn't meet until the regional final.

My next opinion - Waterford will win by 15+.

bballjunky, That is four or five times you have trashed Fairfield and their coach. What is your problem- jealous? You never answered someone else's question which was are you Webster's coach?

It's a silly question to begin with, math alone should solve that riddle. But no --- since you can't seem to figure that out.

I can guarantee I haven't "trashed" him 4-5 times. I just thought the comments were a little much, hence me giving my opinion back. I apologize, I forgot in today's day and age we were only allowed to agree with one another. You're right, coach of the year and best team last night in a landslide! Hillary won the popular vote! Waterford doesn't know what's coming!
