Any new predictions on this one? Any new news out of the Meigs or Athens camps? Key TVC-Ohio matchup tonight.

Key for Meigs .. A win for Meigs and a Alexander win over Nelsonville-York. Meigs is out of last place but that's a start

Seens like Meigs is there best when you have Baer, Bartrum and Mattox firing on all cylinders. Athens definitely needs to play Baer tighter. He had 5 3s at Athens last time. Really good shooter and ball handler. I think the 2nd half of the last game Athens slowed his game down some and came away with a 10 point Victory. But Meigs was up 38-37 going into the 4th quarter.

The landscape has changed dramatically for Meigs, for not only this game, but for the rest of the season as well.

tvc_fan where are you? Seems like you know the most about Meigs basketball. What's going on over there in Meigs County?

Things that probably can't be talked about here probably. Not that theey are criminal but they just have to do with information on students that shouldn't be made public, even though I'm sure people will find out anyway.

Athens 66
Meigs 41
Final...Felt a little sorry for Meigs in this one. Maybe had 8 players. A few of them looked like 7th or 8th graders.

If Coach Fry is smart he will get out of Dodge. There is a reason Meigs can't keep a good coach.

If making no adjustments when down by 20 in the 3rd quarter is good coaching, then Fry is the best coach in Ohio.

Sadly, Meigs seems to be a sinking ship. I don't know how they overcome this newest development. Focus should now be on experience for next year. I don't say this to be mean. Just looks like a sad state of affairs at Meigs.

I only saw like 8 players on Varsity. No Mattox or Darst.

Gonna be very hard for Meigs to win another game, Baer and Bartrum will have to score 30 each.
