Beat Adena 2x, beat Miami Trace 2x and then split with FU

8 kids saw a lot of playing time and without Davis, Bragg and Blankenship

Jackson now 13-1 on the summer
Jackson and Fairfield Union should be tough this year
Their one good player got his ankle rolled pretty good. Hopefully he’s ok. They had 2 other players that were quite good and long and got to the basket quick and had quick hops handy for basketball too.

Last day at Denison....lost by a few to New Albany and then lost to New Albany on a buzzer beater. They were split team but several main players were on both.

Beat Northmor by about 20

After seeing a little of all the teams there it was funny we beat DeSales in the overtime tournament. They were just thrashing teams. Beat Mansfield 96-28. Good weekend of competition. Wish we had everyone to get a good mesh.

From the game I seen Saturday, Jackson should be pretty good this year. I’m sure they’re missing kids also

... Great seeing Jackson take their show Above the Lancaster-Dixon Line ! ALL of these summer games are learning experiences, growing experiences , finding those things that need to be addressed going into the new year ... love seeing this ... Coach Cox took the New Boston D4 team to Toledo to play in a shootout at Toledo U. vs D1 competition !!! AGAIN - you HAVE TO challenge your team , make them SEE what is out there , to see WHERE your own players need to work to get to in order to compete ... Excellent !!! love seeing teams challenging themselves ... play on !!!

Jackson lost scoring machine Cooper Donaldson and some nice role players. Jackson returns some real nice pieces including the best point guard in the area IMO in Caleb Wallis . Coach Morrow has the program built up and winning at all levels. Should be another fun season .

Should be another good year. Ranked 4th in Pfloyd's Pre-Season rankings.

I saw Jackson this summer at the Marshall Shootout, and I was very impressed by the Ironmen. They beat a good Ironton team 34-32, and even though it was summer basketball, I could tell that JHS had a good starting 5 and some capable subs. They will be a prime candidate to win a district title in D2. I pick Chillicothe to win the FAC, but Jackson should finish no worse than 2nd.

I agree! Wallis can play and they can knock down some shots! Does the Ironmen have a Big? when I saw them in Summer ball it seemed like a smallish lineup. effective but small.

football life: I didn't see anyone with any notable size, but I'm not sure if Jackson had their whole team or not at the shootout. Most of the time a team is missing a player or two in summer ball.

Will Treylan Davis be playing basketball? He's got plenty of size and has seen varsity minutes since his freshman year.

bbjunky81: Somebody from Jackson will have to answer your question......when I saw Jackson play in the summer, I didn't know any names of the players, and I didn't see anybody taller than about 6-3.

Don't think Davis is playing this year.

Rumor is Treylan is focusing on football this winter . Kid is a legit D1 prospect with a recent offer from Akron.

Poo - Who do you think will be the big inside this year then?

They won't have a true big. Braxton Hammond is probably the tallest at 6'3
