People need to wake up 1-4 can beat anyone in soc 2 beside Burg and Oak hill. I think they would give them a run also. Peeble is definitely favor at peebles, west union and white oak would beat most teams around here. Good luck Tigers!!!!!!

Whiteoak 50
The Tigers picked up their fifth win (fourth on the road) of the season in Mowrystown. Whiteoak drops to 1-4, 1-1 in SHAC action.

Leasing scorer for the Tigers was Tanner Voiers with 24 points, 5 rebounds and 4 steals, followed closely by Sexton with 21 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists. McKinley had 6, Jackson, Jones and Clark had 2 each, Saunders 1. Sorry, I do not have the scoring for the Wildcats.

Whiteoak won the JV game 49-39 to push their record to 2-3. NB slips to 1-3.

The Tigers are at Clay 3-3, 3-3, 2-0 on 12/17 and follow up the week hosting the Green Bobcats 3-3, 0-2 on Friday 12/20.

Who does the stats for New Boston? I would love to see film of the game because I find it hard to believe the young man had 10 blocks.

New Boston's rebounds/blocks/assists numbers always seem slightly inflated compared to other box scores. Can someone post a link to one of their games? I'll gladly stat the game to see if the stats compare to what are actually being reported.

Lol. Probably the coach. NBA 6’10 Anthony Davis had 10 blocks in one game. So it’s possible. Lol

Possible? Absolutely. Likely? Not so much.

There's several different ways to do stats now. There's apps where assistant coaches/managers can keep stats live during the game and have them ready as soon as the game is over. Not always super reliable but in the general ballpark.

Other coaches use HUDL/Krossover... HUDL Assist actually does the stats for you but you don't get them until the next day. Considering these stats in question are typically posted the night before it seems someone on NB's staff is the one doing the stats, not HUDL.

They could be completely accurate, but every game a few stats are posted that seem inflated compared to literally any other team in SEO.

I won’t mention the team or the paper but I read an article and the team lost by 20 but had 66 rebounds lol. They added the offensive + defensive+ total rebounds to get the number. I couldn’t believe it. Official mom stats you might say.

I personally keep my own scoring numbers. The other stats come the next day in the papers and/or hudl I believe. SCOH Boys Basketball was there last night, you might contact them. Ease up a bit! If you have such a problem with the numbers, take in one of the games. They play Green at home this Friday.

I never said I had "a problem" with the numbers. I root for all kids in SEO to perform well in any sport that they play. I read box scores for games all across the tri-state and New Boston's peripheral stats always seem inflated, that is all. Maybe they just stuff the stat sheet better than all other local teams, who knows.

May seem Inflated because they are a good team in a league with really bad teams. I’ve seen film of some of the soc teams they play against and they look like bad JV teams.

Yea, I saw where some other guy has watched the other teams and said they are not only bad JV type teams but also look really slow on film.

If everyone is questioning their stats come check them out. We have only play two league games where starters haven't even played all the game. One home game this year so far, if anyone want to play us next season please have the AD contact NB AD an setup up a game. I'm sure the team and their coaches will take on anyone at any time and place.

That Clark kid had 6 blocks easy in the first half, Clay players were just throwing it to his hand. He had a few fingertip blocks in the second half, I think it’s about right.
