I appreciate ALL of the feedback - for AND against - the rankings ... a whole bunch of "stuff" to take into account when rankings ALL of the teams Below the Lancaster-Dixon Line ... BUT probably THE main reason for doing the rankings is to "get the conversation" started NOT to end it ... no one can be THE expert , I don't profess to be , I only try my best to "know about what I post about" - one hs hoops fans' opinion ...

You still da man Pfloyd. Is the committee of 1 coming to give Peebles/ New Boston the eye test January 4th in Adams county? Peebles Trimble,Peebles Federal Hocking and Peebles Chesapeake will all be up in your neck of the Woods later in the season as well. Hope to see you at one of those venues.

Portsmouth (2-4) started 4 sophomores vs. a feisty Portsmouth West squad, with the Trojans coming out with a 59-46 win. SO Dariyonne Bryant scored a career high 19 points, and SO Drew Roe pitched in 10. SR Matthew Fraulini scored 13, and now is only 193 points shy of 1,000.

The Trojans haven't started 4 sophomores since the 1986 season, when David Barnes, Dominic McKinley, Patrick Tubbs, and Brent Calloway led PHS to a 16-8 record, losing in the district finals to Greenfield McClain. 2 years later, these same sophomores won the very first D2 state title.
