Any word on the number of spectators for this game? If I understand correctly capacity for indoor sports facilities in Ohio is now at 25%.

I don’t believe the OHSAA has acted on it yet.

Would be nice if the capacity was increased to 25%, should be more than that.
I believe Waverly seats about 2,000 so 25% would of course be 500 fans.

Looks like they have. This was sent out to Admin today. It is up to the host sites if they want to adopt the increased capacity.

I think back when it opened in 1972 capacity was listed at 3,200 for the Waverly PE Building. It really never looked that big and with improvements over the last few years seating capacity may have been downgraded. Maybe
@smurray knows the skinny on capacity and if expanded attendence will be allowed

I’m not sure the exact amount of seating we hold with the new bleachers but yes they have went with the expanded 25%.
I believe the lower bleachers on the “visitor” side will be pulled out and sidelines back to normal as well.

That would be good for the spectators.
For Waverly boys....I’d be tempted to leave everything the same.

I can’t get a feel for this game. I think Waverly wins at home, but Sheridan has been playing super well, especially the last month or so.
I think it’s a toss up, but I’ll guess the Tigers at home get the W.

This game will definitely be worth the price of admission. Both teams are very physical and have the players to make big time plays. However I think Waverly pulls away in the 4th quarter to win
