Ethan Taylor and Will Davis (both starters) were out tonight.Hornetfan84 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 08, 2022 6:38 pm Watching north Adams and Fairland. Looks like Fairland is missing a few starters?
I would say it was one of their better performances this year. Couple this game with the game last night against Alexander, the team showed great effort and it showed their grit to play these 2 games in 24 hours. Not sure what Jackson’s schedule is but if they were in the same boat that is a great game with great effort from both sides. The refs were pretty fair from both sides (any gripes one side has, the other side has the exact same). Good game by both sides and a great finish. Even though I was just watching the stream!Ironman92 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 08, 2022 9:21 pm VC 63

Radabaugh went full length of court in 5.4 and hit a 6 footer to win it. Got to half court without having to change directions then flew on down right through middle of the lane without change of direction and hit the shot. Good game.
VC was shooting a crazy % but Jackson didn’t look like Jackson on defense to me. Foul trouble all game but not everyone…..a lot of possessions seemed like Jackson kids all had 2 fouls in the first qtr and were just trying to stay on the court, that was not the case. Down 13 in the 3rd they did pick it up but too many easy possessions for VC throughout this game, including final dagger. Jackson has a 2 point lead with 45 seconds and secured the rebound but Prater was out (fouled out with 3 fouls) and we gave it right back to them.
The game though was lost in the second quarter….so many easy possessions. Proud of how they fought back with a team effort but dug themselves too much of a hole and couldn’t keep themselves on the court. Game was called super tight, fairly consistent but everything in the lane seemed like a foul both ways, post players for both teams doing nothing but arms straight in the air….anything contested was a foul (both ways). Sure a huge difference from one night to the next….players have to adjust though. Reaches were fouls and slight body movement was a foul (I’m not against it but those things aren’t called in the tournament ever.
VC played really well. Many kids contributed and many kids shot well. Good game by them….interested to hear from VC folks if that was their best performance so far. They played well.
Jackson never ever gives up on a game and those 6 kids have to be tired but that rally down 13 took a ton of guts and effort.
No clue on the scoring for either….Winters around 16 points for Jackson
Yeah, Jackson fought hard against one of the better team in Washington last night and had been shut down for Covid the week prior. Both teams tonight proved very resilientRainbowThre3 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 08, 2022 9:34 pmI would say it was one of their better performances this year.
