67-46 Final

Congratulations to Zimmerman on 1000 tonight.
The first possession of his first career game I remember he pulled up from 8ft behind the line and drained it like it was nothing. Congrats

Congrats to trey. Known him since he was in 4th grade. Knew at an early age he could play. I’m sure his dad was smiling down on him tonight. Congrats again.

SW played physical with us all night, much improved since the first meeting. I do think they'll be a tough team to face come tournament time!

As for Waverly, another solid game just keep 'em coming!

Big congrats to Trae Zimmerman on his 1000th point!

South Webster just had no answer for Robertson, but not many teams do.

Jeeps need Carpenter to step up and score more for them to make a run in the tournament. His averages have dipped considerably the last few weeks so hopefully he can get back to preseason form. He is a great weapon for them and does so much on the glass, but they need offensive production out of someone other than Roberts and Zimmerman.

The only way to defend waverly is zone them. Keeps them from straight line drives. Waverly is the best defensive team in the league. So you have to value each offensive possession and grab the defensive rebound off the zone which is tough to do. That’s why minford beat them and probably should of won the second one.

I agree…have no idea why Webster insisted on trying to play man.

Uphill battle to begin with defending this Waverly team. If man isn’t working, you try something different. That’s in the coaches’ laps for lack of adjustments.

If you think that's an uphill battle wait until they play Trimble, if they meet up in the tourney.
