How’d that intimidation work for your over hyped tomcats tonight? Go Bucks!Tomcat Queen wrote: ↑Fri Jan 20, 2023 11:46 am Howie will work his magic and get the Tomcats right where they need to be in the draw. You just wait and see if you don’t believe me. The only people more intimidated by Howie than the refs is the other coaches in D4. That’s why he gets the good draws every year.
Ya’ll got lucky cause it fits in the seeding plan. But I agree Go Ohio State Bucks! You can’t be all bad being an Ohio State fan.Fullpress wrote: ↑Sat Jan 21, 2023 11:18 pmHow’d that intimidation work for your over hyped tomcats tonight? This is probably not intentional and not the focus of the bracket, but the #1 seed in the SEO wouldn't go into bracket that would make them play the East District champ I bet. Central district is much weaker than East district and it is not particularly close IMO.Tri-StateYouthSports wrote: ↑Fri Jan 20, 2023 10:26 am Is it ever TOO early??
Preliminary seeding based on the current MartinRPI rankings. Below are the D-IV tournament matchups .
FYI - Ignore most of the dates. They haven't been updated yet.
In past years it has been the choice of the #1 seed if they want to be designated at Southeast 1 or Southeast 2 based on the matchup in the regionals. I would assume that would continue.allOhiotraveler wrote: ↑Mon Jan 23, 2023 12:08 am This is probably not intentional and not the focus of the bracket, but the #1 seed in the SEO wouldn't go into bracket that would make them play the East District champ I bet. The projected seeding is great though!
I don't remember that being the case. I've always seen the brackets on the SEODAB.org early in the season pre determined. When Trimble was 25-0 and the No. 1 seed, I know if Howie had a choice he wouldn't have played Africentric in the semi's. lolTri-StateYouthSports wrote: ↑Mon Jan 23, 2023 12:51 pmIn past years it has been the choice of the #1 seed if they want to be designated at Southeast 1 or Southeast 2 based on the matchup in the regionals. My "eye's on" " gut feeling" approach is pretty close to the algorithm ...
haha well you know how preps is, you never know who people are and what they post is 100% correct, so I got ahold of a board member and the former tournament director.danicalifornia wrote: ↑Mon Jan 23, 2023 2:58 pmI love this type of post. TriState was 100% right, but only gets partial credit, because you asked someone else who knew
That’s 100% fair. Did they say it changed in the Covid year? Because I feel like it’s only been a couple of years.93Bulldog wrote: ↑Mon Jan 23, 2023 5:53 pmhaha well you know how preps is, you never know who people are and what they post is 100% correct, so I got ahold of a board member and the former tournament director.danicalifornia wrote: ↑Mon Jan 23, 2023 2:58 pmI love this type of post.
