I was there, no shots in the gym (can’t say anything about outside), but the game was rightfully called.

Very scary, but it seems like nobody was hurt in the gym.

Not sure what happened but everyone leaving was the correct thing to do. A kid doesn’t bring a gun to a school unless he has thoughts of doing something. I’m glad no one was hurt. It takes a millisecond to pull a trigger, whoever it is I hope they are caught and receive max punishment.

I don’t have much information. My cousin was there, he’s a PHS student. He says there was indeed a young man with a gun…not a Portsmouth student. He says he was from another school. Didn’t tell me what school though. Says a school resource officer apprehended him. Thank god nobody was hurt.

I wondered when I didn’t hear his name in the first 2 quarters. Interesting. Good win for northwest.

PPD says there’s a person of interest but no weapon was found. Neither students from Portsmouth or Minford were involved. Crazy you can’t even go enjoy a basketball game without someone having to act like a nut.

Debated driving down for this one but figured the Vikings might rest their starters.

Why would you rest your starters? They are high school kids. They don't need rest.

Especially if they don’t play until Wednesday

This game wouldn’t have been scheduled if the starters weren’t going to play.

Northwest is good. I didn’t watch any of it but can imagine how it went down. SW’s tournament run is purely speculation now following recent developments

Yeah I know Northwest is good seen them play a couple times this year, nice team but I don't know that anyone would've see a 27 point win over SW. Not sure what happened with a certain player last game for SW but seen him player a lot over the years and he's his own worst enemy. Question I guess I have is for SW is whether or not this is fixable or has it past a point of no return?
