Tigers are working hard. Missing Russell right now, a lot he’ll add once he gets back.

Very impressive to be competing with a team like harvest prep, especially in a scrimmage setting

Word on the street is Waverly split with Harvest Prep in their scrimmage this past week.. If that’s the case - those boys are about to be ready to compete for a nice run.

Of special interest to Tiger fans will be the December 20th matchup with Wheeling Central Catholic out of WV. They are the defending WV Class AA champs and are strong favorites to repeat this season. WCC is led by Liberty University commit Eli Sancomb.

Waverly out to a good 2-0 start with wins against Fisher Catholic at Zane Trace Classic and a hard fought win at home last night over Gallia Academy.

No rest as the Tigers travel to Zane Trace tonight to battle a good Pioneer squad. JV tip time is 5:30.

Waverly will then host 3 games next week:
Hillsboro on Tuesday, Northwest on Friday and Eastern Brown on Saturday.

not to rain on your parade but winning by 6 against a down d7 fisher cath isn’t the best showing. We will see more bout waverly against a so-so NW and a solid EB this weekend… but they def shoulda blown fisher out i was very surprised by that score
