Both teams knew going in it was going to be a battle. It appeared to me SW lost some of its composure instead of adjusting to how the game was being called. Athletes do dumb things when they lose focus and composure. This is the same at all levels.

Good luck next year, hopefully your jeeps can start backing up your big mouth.
As a Valley fan, I enjoy reading the post from Swank. Compassionate about his team, but is always the first to eat his crow when he’s wrong. Trolls are what ruin this site, not friendly competitive trash talking. Look forward to seeing these two teams compete against each other the next few years!

I didn’t watch but that sounds bad. I know Trimble a physical and gritty team so I know they were taking it to the hoop.

Guffey going 26 and 25 is ridiculous lol

Totally agree on Swank, he is great for the site. Nothing wrong with being a true fan and stirring the pot here and there. He eats his crow when needed. He’s not a coach he’s just a fan who likes his team and likes having fun.

Free throw differences don’t always mean bad officiating. Valley was in the bonus early and Webster had to foul late to get the ball back. It was a good game. Webster will be fine next year. Valley had a game plan in place and it worked. Played well together as a team and took care of the ball. Made shots when they needed to and made free throws.

I’ll die on the hill that it was still a poorly officiated game. Just a shame to see Zimmermans last game end with him playing roughly 8 minutes after we jumped all over Valley.

Well, RIP I guess.

SW had to grab and bump to keep Valley from moving and going. Valley was slightly quicker and better 1-5. SW played tough, but I don't believe if you rewatch that game that any of his 5 fouls were cheap. All were legit. Now, you can argue that you would like a tournament game to be called differently but that was a physical game and the officials called things that affected movement and shots. Not many cheap calls either way.

That was a good basketball game. All 3 contests between these teams were this season.

This….you have to adjust

Surprised it was tightly called

Agree. Usually they let them play more than that. But fouls are fouls. I didn’t think they were bad calls, either way. But just my opinion.
