Didn’t you do a prediction of records for each team? I can’t find it

bbjunky81 wrote: Mon Nov 04, 2019 8:29 am I'm guessing somewhere around the following:

SOC 1

14-0 New Boston
11-3 Symmes Valley
10-4 Ironton St. Joe
8-6 Western
6-8 Clay
4-10 Green
2-12 Notre Dame
1-13 East

SOC 2

Oak Hill 14-2
Waverly 14-2
Burg 13-3
South Webster 8-8
Valley 8-8
Minford 7-9
West 5-11
Eastern 2-14
Northwest 1-15
SOC 1 is shaping up pretty closely to what I imagined but Green has been exceeding my original expectations. Great year by them (tremendous coaching job at that)... and nearly knocked off New Boston last week.

Did pretty decent near the top but I definitely underestimated Minford and Eastern, while slightly over valuing Webster and Valley. Both can still turn the corner to end the season and finish near projection.

Here is the prediction thread for those who are interested in their own picks:

I think earlier in this thread some others predicted how they felt the SOC 2 would end up.
Ironman92,

This was a quote from page 12 which had quoted my predictions before the season.

Final standings:

15-1 Wheelersburg
14-2 Waverly
12-4 Oak Hill
8-7 Minford
7-9 South Webster
6-9 Valley
5-11 West
3-13 Eastern
1-15 Northwest

Need Minford - Valley make up game score

Burg returns every single player while Waverly graduates 2 of their main rotational guys. Robertson/Stulley/Futhey come back and I believe Brown as well so they'll be very good, but it's hard to pick against the team that won is this year and returns every player.

It'll be interesting to see if the incoming Northwest freshman will be able to help win a few more games for Northwest. Oak Hill will be very down, as will West. Valley/Eastern will still be young so there will be potential for Northwest to win a few more games than they did this year.

Burg wins this year and will have the exact same team next year with bench experience and they aren’t the favorite? Lol

By the way, Webster way too high on your list.

I didn’t know how many seniors Burg was graduating, if any. Likely it’ll be Waverly and Burg again.

Webster will be fine next year. I think we’ll have 1 senior on the team in Aiden Andrews. Blizzard might be Senior. I didn’t say we’d win it all.

Purely speculation because we might get poached by coughNBorBurgcough

Zimmerman (Jr)
Andrews (sr)
Blizzard
Collins (So)
Lower (So)
Carpenter

Not familiar with some of the names of the JV players except Beasley and Baker and the PG first name is Connor something.

Northwest’s 8th grade team could’ve beat their varsity team this year. I may give them a better valuation once we see who makes the team

The incoming Northwest freshmen will have to work hard this spring and summer. They will most of them play football so they will be in the weight room. I think 3 of them will play Varsity next year.

I wouldn't go that far. Jv yes but not Varsity. I think 3 of them will be playing Varsity.

I've never done my "way-too-early SOC prediction" post while the previous season still going, but why not:

Burg
Waverly
Minford
South Webster
Valley
Eastern
West
Oak Hill
Northwest

Of course, all this subject to changes once free agency begins (and I already hearing some interesting rumblings).*
