Im going to go with Eastern 69-67. It'll be interesting to see who steps up for Eastern tonight. Connery I think will get a big 15, and Tyler "Mojo" Hendrix will come off the bench and torch the Bulldogs from 3.

This should fun. A true battle. I will be interested to see how Eastern plays it it's first test of the season. I look for them to refer to this game as a possible preview for the type of game they will likely face in a district championship or say regional appearance if they make it there. With all that I think the Eagles come to play tonight and win by 4-8 points. I'll go with a 57-53 final in a hard fought game.

Not sure Shaz...the radio said 45-39 right when the game ended and i turned to another game after that...so its possible it was changed. You are probably right if you were there...my vantage point is the radio...lol

This was in all honesty, and AWFUL game to watch. Eastern couldn't make anything from beyond the arc. Even still they were ahead most of the game until the fourth quarter. In all honesty, I'm quite shocked the game wasn't way worse since they couldn't make a 3. Just a rough guess but I'm going to say 2-16 or 2-18 from three point range. The two they made were in the last 20 seconds of the game. Congrats to Athens on a hard fought victory. Eastern just didn't bother to show up tonight. You win some, you lose some.
