Its bound to happen, teams in the #1-#4 seeds are very close talent wise.

Right now looks like the Waverly Sectional is shaping up to be Peebles, Eastern Brown, and Piketon being a lock for the top 3 seeds. #4 thru #6 will be a toss up between Huntington, Northwest, and Westfall and a toss up between Paint Valley and Lynchburg for #7 & #8; North Adams #9; West Union #10; and Adena #11. Looking at records and the remaining schedule before the draw; Northwest will have the biggest challenge, with a couple of wins, they could secure the #4 or #5...the winner of tonights Huntington vs. Westfall game could also secure one of those spots. It will be interesting to see how the voting goes, Northwest clearly has the toughest schedule, but currently at 5W 6L, Huntington at 6W 7L, and Westfall at 7W 8L.

Huntington secures the #4 spot with two wins this week, with a couple of wins between now and the draw I believe Northwest will secure #5, and Westfall at #6 with two L's and possibly another vs ZT this week...toss up between Paint Valley and Lynchburg for #7.

I would hope Piketon gets the 2 or 3 seed in Waverly . If not ,thats a crime ,11-5 record with a hell of a schedule.

I would say they will get the 3, behind Peebles and Eastern, unless Peebles beats Eastern on the 13th. With another Eastern loss I would say Piketon has a good shot at moving into the 2. Eastern has had a pretty tough schedule though(Hillsboro, South Point, Fairland, Peebles, Ripley twice).

Piketon is a lock for #3 seed...Streaks will play at Adena Friday, Southeastern at home the following Friday and Vinton County at OUC Saturday prior to the draw....I see the Streaks at 14-5 or 13-6 coming in. In which all other teams with the exception of Peebles and Eastern Brown already has 6 losses or more.

Fairland lost to Coal Grove and South Point already since this post. lol. And they still have to play Chesapeake 1 more time. Top 4? I think not. Not knocking the Dragons but a couple of their wins early in the season were against VERY weak teams. I think they should feel lucky to have a 7 seed.

Even if Eastern losses to Peebles they will still end up with a better record than Piketon. We will just have to see how big a factor strength of schedule becomes.
