How many for Hammond?
Yes, want to see the score the next go around.Hoopie74 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 03, 2021 9:45 pm Ripley 66- Peebles 58. Ripley started out on fire from everywhere but mainly from Bennington who hit from everywhere. I think it was 19-4 in late 1st quarter. 24-11 end of one. Peebles stormed back and made it a 3 point game at half. The game was pretty much a wash the 3rd quarter with the Bluejays up by 5 ending the 3rd. Ripley pulled it out to another 10 point lead and Peebles answered to bring it back to 3 points. Bennington handles the last 2:30 of the game and with one minute left Peebles fouled to get the ball back . Thus the final score.
Peebles showed first game jitters and Ripley took advantage of it. Indians needs to work on foul shooting and rebounding and I think they will be ok. Josh will teach them their new identity by mid season. It's gonna be a real test for these guys as they have only one player with much varsity experience. Go Indians
Bennington killed us .He and Sinhg we're hitting everything. Peebles missed 8 layups and 7 foul shots the first quarter .Total lid on the basket. Josh called a timeout 30 seconds of the 2nd quarter and they stormed back. Could have taken the lead if they hit their foul shots. It will be a tough first half of the season for the boys, but; they will learn.Ironman92 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 03, 2021 9:48 pmYes, want to see the score the next go around.Hoopie74 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 03, 2021 9:45 pm Ripley 66- Peebles 58. Sounds like the SHAC has some talented individual players about the leagueHoopie74 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 03, 2021 9:53 pmBennington killed us .He and Sinhg we're hitting everything. Fayettevilles Bradshaw is a stud . When they learn to play together, they will be tough. They have almost all the players back that made it to Regionals last year. Botkins put them out last year.I think Whiteoak and Fayetteville will fight it out for SHAC small school. Peebles reserve squad will turn some heads before it's over.Ironman92 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 03, 2021 9:56 pmSounds like the SHAC has some talented individual players about the leagueHoopie74 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 03, 2021 9:53 pmBennington killed us .He and Sinhg we're hitting everything. Bout time we caught a break
I'm not really sure. I know he was the point guard. I don't really know the OH players that well. I don't remember him shooting the ball hardly at all. Minford's press caused an awful lot of turnovers by OH.
